TRANG 50 is a Thoro pendant with a vertical tube 50 cm high and about 3 cm in diameter. The shade is opal, with brown metal caps at both ends and a thin brown stripe along the tube. Above it hangs a cylindrical canopy 6 cm in diameter and 26 cm high in the same brown; the cable is black. How large it is and where it hangs The tube is 50 cm high at 3 cm diameter — a vertical line of light, not a wide shade spread over a tabletop. The canopy is 6 cm across and 26 cm high. At full drop the fitting measures 200 cm from ceiling to the bottom edge; you shorten the suspension, usually so the bottom of the tube sits 70–80 cm above the tabletop (a dining table is typically 75 cm high). The fitting weighs 1.1 kg and mounts on the ceiling. The TRANG collection also has hanging versions with a 75 cm and a 100 cm tube, and a floor lamp in the same form. How much light it gives and how it shines The built-in LED is included: it draws 13 W and gives 1719 lm. That is more than an old 60 W bulb (around 800 lm), spread along 50 cm of opal tube rather than as a wide cone onto a table. 3000 K is warm white. Ra 93 means colours under this light look almost as they do in daylight — that matters at the table and over a worktop, where food and materials should match. You do not replace the source yourself: changing the LED means changing the fitting. One light point, 230 V supply. The collection has integrated PUSH-DIMM/DALI control. To dim it you need a momentary push-button or a DALI installation — there is no separate dimmer in the box, and this version does not ship with remote or app control. Build and what arrives in the box The materials are steel and PVC: a brown steel canopy and caps, and an opal plastic tube. The form is modern — a smooth cylinder with no ornament, one metal colour, a black cable. Protection class I: the installation needs an earth conductor.
