The V-TAC VT-60018CCT Surface-mounted Downlight Panel is a round LED fixture for direct ceiling mounting, with no cut-out needed. It measures 215.6 mm across and 30.8 mm high, with a white plastic housing. The light source is an integrated CREE chip that cannot be replaced.How much light it gives and what kindThe fixture draws 18 W and outputs 1980 lm, which at 110 lm/W efficiency is roughly equivalent to an old-style 150 W bulb — this is light for a room's main illumination, not a supplementary source. Colour temperature is switched using a selector on the mounting bracket on the back of the panel, between 3000 K (warm white), 4000 K (neutral white) and 6500 K (cool white) — the choice is set once, during installation. A 120° beam angle spreads the light widely and evenly. A CRI of Ra 80+ means faithful, though not fully natural, colour rendering.MountingThe panel is screwed to the ceiling using the metal mounting bracket visible on the back of the housing — unlike the recessed version, no hole needs to be cut into the ceiling.
