The 22230-B ZAMBELIS is a metal ceiling base in a black matte finish with a built-in LED driver, part of the Pendant Opals Modular System. The base mounts flush to the ceiling, with an adjustable cable running down to a connector for the opal glass elements, chosen separately.What it connects to, and how much space it needsOne base takes 3 to 6 opal glass elements, sold separately as intermediate and terminal glass pieces — the LEDs sit inside those glass elements, not in the base itself. The combined power of every glass element attached must stay under 30 W, so it's worth adding up before choosing how many balls and what wattage to use.The base has a 14 cm diameter, and the adjustable suspension cable reaches up to 200 cm, shortened to whatever drop the glass elements need. Its IP20 rating limits installation to dry indoor rooms, away from direct water contact.Power and dimmingThe built-in LED driver delivers 700 mA at 220-240 V input (50/60 Hz) and supports dimming through an external triac dimmer, bought separately — none is included.
