Sag Harbor M - a classic box-form wall lantern The medium Sag Harbor is a two-light wall lantern for outdoor use. Its body is a rectangular box glazed on three sides, capped by a gently curved hood and a slim bar handle that recalls an old storm lantern. Two lampholders sit inside on exposed candle tubes, and a bronze diffuser fills the back panel, bouncing light forwards instead of losing it into the wall. Finish and materials The frame is aluminium - a metal that will not rust on a facade - finished in painted burnished bronze, the maker's own name for the coating. It is a warm satin bronze with a visible directional grain, lighter across the hood and handle than on the frame itself. The panes are clear glass, so the bulb stays visible and becomes part of the decoration: this is a fitting designed around a decorative, visible-filament lamp. Lamps The lantern takes two E14 lamps. The manufacturer states a maximum wattage of 40 W per lamp; bulbs are not supplied.
