IPA16 is a LUMINES aluminium LED profile in black lacquer, supplied as a 1 m (1000 mm) length. The section is 44.1 mm wide and 23.4 mm high — the 16 mm chamber matches 16 mm plasterboard, so after filling the face sits flush with the ceiling or wall. How large it is and where it goes The tape channel is 25.2 mm wide inside and takes an LED strip up to 12 mm wide. The plaster-in flange is 12.6 mm. The maker leaves the filling faces unlacquered so the compound bonds to the aluminium; the black lacquer is on the visible walls. It is a plaster-in mount in 16 mm plasterboard, on ceiling and wall, for linear accent lighting. The profile is screw-fixed and the driver stays outside the extrusion. Lengths cannot be joined into one run — each metre works on its own. It is not a drive-over profile: it does not go in the floor. What is in the box and what to buy separately The pack contains the 1000 mm profile only. Cover, end caps, LED strip and driver are not included — they are separate parts of the IPA16 system. A BASIC-family cover presses in from above. Versions exist in PMMA, PC and PVC: clear, frosted, milky, black, and with a 15° or 30° lens. End caps have their own codes, different from this profile's code 10-0415-10. Choose a strip up to 12 mm wide. At a 55 °C profile temperature the maker states a maximum dissipated power of 32.2 W, at 65 °C 43.4 W; that is the heat limit for the strip in this channel, not a light source packed with the profile. What it is compatible with IPA16 shares BASIC covers with APA12, APA16 and IPA12. The same black lacquer is also sold as 2020 mm and 3000 mm lengths; white lacquered and silver anodized finishes are separate articles. This SKU is the 1 m black lacquered length only. The profile as sold has no sealing. Any IP rating quoted with a cover and sealing kit belongs to the assembled set, which is not in this pack — buy those parts separately if they are needed.Visa mer
