A chair with arms, not an armchair JOEL has a shape that misleads at first glance: the back wraps the seat in an arc and runs on into low armrests, leaving the characteristic arch-shaped cut-outs between them and the back. It is still a dining chair — a 50 cm seat height and 56 cm depth are dining dimensions, not lounge ones — but with a comfort an ordinary armless chair does not offer over a long dinner.
