HOYO Luces Exclusivas Ceiling Light LE41402
HOYO LE41402 is a ceiling light built from three interlocking frames with rounded corners: two elongated ones and a smaller one, held together by a rectangular ceiling block. The frames are aluminium in a gold finish, and the light leaves through acrylic covers running along their inner edge. How much ceiling it takes up The fitting measures 66 cm across and 53 cm deep, so it occupies a rectangle on the ceiling larger than the top of a typical bedside table. It is worth marking out that pair of dimensions on the ceiling before ordering, to see how much room is left to the walls and to any other fittings. The body drops 18 cm below the ceiling. It mounts flush against the slab, with no cable and no drop, so the mounting height is fixed and cannot be adjusted. How much light it gives and of what kind The LED module draws 38 W and delivers 2604 lm. That is roughly three times a former 60 W bulb — enough output for the fitting to work as the main light in a room, not only as a supplement to floor lamps. 3000 K is warm white: a yellowish light close to a classic incandescent bulb, but without its markedly orange cast. The LED is built in permanently, so no bulb has to be bought separately, and equally none can be swapped and the colour of the light cannot be changed after purchase. Build and form The body is aluminium and the covers are acrylic. Aluminium carries heat away from the LED module and keeps the frames rigid across a 66 cm span, while the acrylic diffuses the light so the lit edge reads as continuous rather than as separate points. The form is geometric and free of ornament — the character comes from the drawing of three overlapping frames and the single gold finish.
