GBITR14 is a power supply for a 48 V track system — the component without which a magnetic track is a dead profile. It converts mains 220-240 V into safe 48 V DC and delivers 100 W, which is what a dozen or so typical magnetic fittings need. It snaps in magnetically, like a fitting This is a "direct magnetic lock" solution: the power supply clips into the track exactly like a spotlight, on magnets, with no screws and no separate enclosure. There is no need to find room in a suspended ceiling or build a service recess — the module becomes part of the track run and is covered by an aluminium cover in the same finish as the profile. The supply cable is 30 cm. Which tracks it fits The manufacturer lists compatibility with recessed and surface tracks GBIN40, GBIN41, GBIN42, GBIN43, GBIN44, GBIN45, GBIN46, GBIN47, GBIN50 and GBIN51. That is the same 48-volt family in which Gea Luce's spotlights, linear and pendant fittings operate — one supply serves the whole section, whatever fittings end up on it, as long as they stay within 100 W. The non-dimmable version This is a non-dimmable model. If the installation is to be controlled, dimming is handled at the fittings (their own electronics) or a controllable supply must be chosen — GBITR14 itself delivers a constant 48 V. Settle that at the design stage, because replacing the supply after installation means opening up the track. That consistency matters in practice — in an open surface-mounted track the supply is as visible as the fittings, so its colour has to match. The 200 W equivalent is the GBITR20-GBITR25 family with identical dimensions. Choosing the rating Keep the combined load of the fittings on a track section below 100 W, with headroom for start-up. With typical 6-12 W magnetic spotlights that means roughly 8-14 fittings per supply; longer runs use several supplies distributed along the track, or the 200 W version. 48 V DC is a safety-extra-low voltage — there is no mains voltage on the track side, which makes rearranging fittings later much simpler.
