Small hatchet for outdoor and trekking activities The compact and one-handed Universal Hatchet 900 B from GARDENA can be used for a variety of timberworking tasks. Thanks to the application-adapted blade and axe head geometry, the small axe is ideal for making kindling, limbing small trees and other outdoor and trekking activities. To ensure that every blow achieves its full power, the axe has a well-balanced centre of gravity that is close to the axe head. It ensures proper weight distribution, therefore increased striking and splitting power. Thanks to the break-proof head handle attachment you never have to hold back when striking. If you want to drive a wedge into the log to split it, the machined hammer function will help you. The hardened blade made from premium tool steel reduces frictional resistance and makes it easier to chop into the wood. The fibreglass-reinforced plastic handle with soft grip, prevents your hand from slipping and guarantees safe handling.
