YACUIBA Luces Exclusivas Pendant Lamp LE44739
YACUIBA is a pendant built from two overlapping, gently curved discs of white aluminium. A round black LED module is hidden between them, and the whole piece hangs from a slim cable running out of a cylindrical white canopy. What the light is like The module faces the white inner surfaces of the discs, which throw the light on — seen from below, there is no visible source, only the lit planes. That arrangement does not put a concentrated beam on the surface underneath; it spreads the light softly around the fitting instead. The built-in LED draws 22 W and delivers 625 lm at 3000 K, a warm white with a slightly yellow cast. 625 lm is roughly what an old 50 W incandescent gave, so the lamp works as mood light alongside the main lighting rather than in place of it. The source is permanently built in: it comes with the lamp, but you cannot replace it yourself once it reaches the end of its life. Dimming and connection The fitting can be dimmed, but only through an external TRIAC dimmer. None is supplied, so it has to be planned into the installation — without one the lamp is simply on or off. Nordlux's Spanish counterpart states a total height of 180 cm and a 230 V supply. The lamp has one light point, so the whole effect comes from that single module. Construction Both discs and the canopy are aluminium finished in matt white; the only contrasting element is the black housing of the module, visible between the discs. The fitting is made for indoor use, and its soft, reflected light suits a living room, a dining room or a bedroom — places where the shape of the lamp and an even glow matter more than a strong beam.Mostrar mais
