Outdoor wall light Lillehammer 2283WH white LED 7.3W 4000K DALI-2 NORLYS

Name: Outdoor wall light Lillehammer 2283WH white LED 7.3W 4000K DALI-2 NORLYS
Brand: NORLYS

Lillehammer 2283WH is a Norlys outdoor wall light shaped as a compact white cuboid of cast aluminium. Its top and bottom faces are open and closed with clear glass, through which the fitting sends two very narrow 4° beams — one straight up, one straight down. This is decorative light, not working light Worth stating plainly: Lillehammer 2283 delivers 31 lumens from 7.3 W. That is not a misprint, and this is not a fitting for lighting an entrance or a driveway — the optic is shielded so tightly that what appears on the wall is a narrow, sharply terminated band of light rather than a pool. You buy it to draw a vertical line of light across render, stone or timber cladding and bring out the texture of the material. If you actually need to light the area by a door, choose a wide-distribution fitting — the same Norlys family includes variants that give 236 lm from the same wattage. Colour temperature is 4000 K, neutral white, with a colour rendering index of CRI 80 and a colour consistency of SDCM 3 — successive fittings from this series will light in the same shade, which shows immediately in a run of wall lights along one façade. DALI-2 control The fitting carries a DALI-2 interface, so it dims and joins building control scenes — not through an ordinary phase dimmer, but over the DALI bus. In a domestic installation that means a DALI gateway; in a commercial one it drops into the existing system with no extra work. Built for outdoors The body is painted cast aluminium, the cable enters through an EPDM gland, and the glass is sealed with a silicone gasket. The assembly is rated IP65 — dust-tight and protected against water jets — and IK08 for mechanical impact, meaning a 5-joule strike. Declared LED lifetime is 52,330 hours; at three hours a day that is roughly 47 years of service. Manufacture takes place within the European Union. Light that stays out of the sky — halfway Norlys classifies Lillehammer 2283 as B0-U2-G0 on the BUG scale: no light emitted sideways (B0), no glare (G0), but U2 for upward emission — because the upper beam by definition points at the sky. The ULOR figure is 50%, so exactly half the flux goes up. Worth checking if the project falls under light-pollution rules; for downward-only output Norlys offers separate models. Installation The fitting mounts on two holes Ø 5 mm, spaced 45 × 130 mm. It measures 18.5 cm high, 11 cm wide and 8 cm deep, weighs 1.6 kg net (1.75 kg boxed) and runs on 230 V mains. Given the mains supply and the sealing requirements, installation is best left to an electrician.
