Luces Exclusivas METAN outdoor wall light LE73683 black LED IP65
The Luces Exclusivas METAN LE73683 is a black aluminium outdoor wall light with a rectangular open frame. Rounded corners and a clear opening through the middle mean the fitting is a border on the wall rather than a closed box. The 9 W LED is built in, so there is no E27 lamp or other replaceable source to buy separately. The housing is 26 cm high, 15 cm wide and 12.5 cm deep. Beside a door, 26 cm typically sits next to a handle or house number, but you should check the 12.5 cm projection against the frame and the swing of the leaf so the door cannot strike the fitting. It runs on 230 V and is hard-wired; a qualified electrician should install it. Light from the frame edges A single integrated source delivers 244 lm at 3000 K. That is a warm, modest glow, not a working light for a garden table and not enough to cover a driveway. The LEDs sit in the vertical inner edges: light travels along the outline and washes the wall behind and to the sides. The open centre stays darker while the facade behind the frame brightens, so the fitting marks a place and models the wall instead of shining at you like a shade. At this size, 244 lm is orientation light: a threshold, a number, a handle, a patch of facade. For sitting on a terrace you still need a stronger separate luminaire. 3000 K is warm, close to classic halogen, not daylight white. Rain, dust and a place on the wall IP65 means a dust-tight housing that withstands a water jet. That class belongs on a facade, balcony, terrace, gazebo and the wall beside an entrance door, where rain and washing the elevation are real. The seal is about the LED chamber and the electrical connection. On a narrow pier, 15 cm of width is easy to measure. On a wide facade one piece can mark the door; a pair either side gives symmetry. Set mounting height to the handle and an adult eye line, not to a terrace ceiling. A plain black frame Black aluminium and a geometric rectangle read as a modern, spare detail.
