ENOLA_C is a spotlight for 3-phase mains-voltage track, with a black cylindrical aluminium head. The 3-phase adapter is supplied, and the head both rotates on its axis and tilts. It runs on a COB LED at 3000 K. Which track it belongs on The supplied adapter is three-phase and fed from 220–240 V mains, so the fitting goes onto a 230 V three-circuit track and will not fit a single-circuit track or a low-voltage system. Because the adapter comes with it, nothing beyond the track itself has to be bought to get it running. The fitting is safety class I, so the track needs a protective earth conductor. The three circuits of a 3-phase track let you assign the spot to one of them and switch it independently of the other fittings on the same run. How much light it gives and how to aim it The spot puts out 1040 lm — roughly what an old 75 W incandescent gave — while drawing 11 W. 3000 K is warm white rather than cool office light, so wood and textiles keep their tone under it. The beam angle is 55°, which is wide: instead of a pinpoint accent it lights the whole surface beneath it, a counter or a tabletop for instance. The head rotates and tilts, so the aim is set after it is clipped in and changed when the furniture moves. A colour rendering index of Ra 80 is the usual figure for general and retail lighting. Size and where it can go The head alone is 10 cm across and 10.7 cm long; with the adapter the whole fitting hangs 17.3 cm below the track. That is the figure to compare with your ceiling height — under a low ceiling the spot enters the eye line of anyone standing. The fitting weighs 0.707 kg, and IP20 confines it to dry interiors: a covered terrace or a bathroom is out. Light source and accessories The COB LED is built into the fitting — there is no socket and no lamp to buy, and the manufacturer quotes 40,000 hours of service life.
