TOUCH DIMMER touch switch with dimmer for LED strip, behind furniture board, 60 W/12 V, 72 W/24 V

Name: TOUCH DIMMER touch switch with dimmer for LED strip, behind furniture board, 60 W/12 V, 72 W/24 V
Brand: Lumines

The TOUCH DIMMER is a touch switch with a dimmer for single-colour LED strip running on 12 V or 24 V DC. The module has a black housing of 40 × 40 mm and four factory-fitted leads 20 cm long — an input pair from the power supply and an output pair to the strip, both with the polarity marked. Where it is installed The module works behind a furniture board up to 30 mm thick, so no button or plate is visible from the outside. You switch it by touching the board at the point the module sits under. Above 30 mm the touch is no longer detected, and that is the only criterion for choosing the spot — the thickness of the door or shelf, not the size of the cabinet. The 40 × 40 mm housing and 20 cm of lead set the space needed on the hidden side of the board. The module does not power the strip itself: it goes between a 12 V or 24 V DC power supply and the strip, so the supply is chosen separately. How much strip it will carry At 12 V the module passes 5 A, which is 60 W; at 24 V it passes 3 A, which is 72 W. The manufacturer works this through on a strip drawing 9.6 W/m: 60 W is enough for about 6 metres of it. Compare that figure with the watts per metre of your own strip multiplied by the length you plan to run. Control is single-colour (MONO). RGB strip and tunable-white strip are outside what this module handles — for two shades of white the manufacturer has a separate Dual Color version. How the dimming works A short touch switches the light on and off. Holding your hand in the same place ramps the strip up and down; brightness is controlled by a PWM signal, that is by switching the supply rapidly rather than by lowering the voltage. The module is rated IP20 and carries CE and RoHS certification, so it is intended for dry furniture interiors.Mostrar mais
