The Egersund 1280CS is a bollard light 108 cm tall with a cylindrical body 20 cm across. The body is powder-coated cast aluminium in a corten-steel finish, and the light leaves as a ring under the widened head, all the way around the bollard. How it is mounted and what has to be bought with it The fitting bolts down on three ø9 mm holes set 120° apart on a ø65 mm circle, so onto a foundation or anchor with that hole pattern. Norlys sells the ground anchor, the concrete anchor and the mounting adapter as separate articles — none of them is in the bollard's box, and one has to be chosen to suit the ground. The terminals take conductors up to 2x4 mm² and allow loop-through wiring, so several bollards can sit on one circuit without a junction box at each. A round cable passes the gland at 8–17 mm diameter. The bollard itself weighs 11.47 kg. How much light it gives, and what kind The luminaire puts out 1681 lm for 20.3 W. 3000 K is warm white — light with a clearly yellow tone, calmer in the evening than neutral white. A colour rendering index of Ra 80 is enough for a path, a driveway and a terrace. The distribution is rotationally symmetric: the bollard lights evenly in every direction, which suits a regular run along a walkway rather than washing a single wall. 9 % of the flux escapes upward (ULOR), and the manufacturer's glare classification is B1-U3-G1. It dims on a phase dimmer, on the trailing edge and on the leading edge alike — so older R and RL dimmers work too. Build and resistance The diffuser is clear PMMA, sealing is by a silicone gasket, and the cable entry is a nylon 6 gland. IP65 means fully dust-tight and resistant to a water jet, so the bollard can stand unsheltered; IK08 describes its resistance to mechanical impact. The fitting is protection class II, double-insulated, and needs no earth conductor. The LED module and the driver are built in, but the manufacturer provides for their replacement by a service technician and publishes a service kit under its own article number — a failed light source does not end the luminaire's life.Mostrar mais
