ACANCEH surface-mounted ceiling spot 8 cm black Luces Exclusivas LE61627
ACANCEH is a surface-mounted spot shaped as a cylinder closed at the top, 6 cm across and 8 cm tall, made of aluminium in black. The lamp sits inside and shines through the opening in the lower face, so the light goes one way, downwards. The fitting meets the ceiling across its whole top surface. Mounting with no hole cut in the ceiling This is not a recessed fitting — no hole has to be cut and no clear space is needed above the ceiling board. A supply cable brought to the mounting point is enough, which makes it the answer on a concrete slab, on a ceiling with no void, and on an attic slope where a recessed downlight simply does not fit. Once mounted the fitting projects 8 cm below the ceiling and occupies a 6 cm circle. Planning several in a row comes down to those two figures: 6 cm sets the closest spacing, and 8 cm says how far the ceiling line drops. Which lamp to buy Inside is one GU10 lampholder, and no lamp is supplied. The manufacturer gives a maximum lamp rating of 10 W — ordinary GU10 halogens are 35–50 W, so in practice this is an LED-only ceiling. Colour and brightness depend entirely on the lamp you buy, so that is where the choice between warm 2700 K and neutral 4000 K is made. Dimming belongs to the lamp too: it needs a lamp marked dimmable and a dimmer in the circuit. Versions of the same fitting The manufacturer makes the same 6 cm body in two heights, 8 and 10 cm, and in two colours — black and white.
