FRAME 3 is a ceiling lamp built around an open rectangular frame of black lacquered steel measuring 57.5 x 33 cm. Three cylindrical heads of brushed brass-plated steel sit on the frame, each 8 cm across and 4 cm tall, closed underneath by a flat white diffuser. How much ceiling it takes and how it is fixed The frame covers a 57.5 x 33 cm rectangle on the ceiling and the whole fitting projects only 7.7 cm from it — a luminaire for rooms where a suspended lamp would hang too low. The body is open, so what shows on the ceiling is a thin outline rather than a solid shape. The manufacturer specifies bracket mounting: a round base at the short end of the frame is the single fixing point and the whole structure runs out from it. That means one connection point rather than four, and the frame extends almost 60 cm away from it — worth checking which way that axis falls over the chosen spot. The fitting weighs 1.6 kg, the parcel 2 kg. The mounting height cannot be adjusted. GX53 is a cap into which a flat, round lamp is inserted and twisted to lock — it is not a screw thread, so an ordinary screw-cap bulb will not fit. No sources are included, so you choose the colour and brightness yourself: for a living room or a bedroom 2700–3000 K is the usual pick, meaning warm light with a slightly yellow cast. All three points light together — the manufacturer states that the light cannot be split into separate circuits. Materials and finish The frame is steel lacquered black, and the heads are brass-plated steel finished by brushing, which gives the gold a matt, lined sheen rather than a mirror one. The diffusers are white and flat, flush with the edge of the cylinder. A thin black frame set against three gold cylinders is a minimalist form: no ornament, only the contrast of two finishes and a geometric outline.
