FLATT POLE 65 is a 65 cm bollard light with a flat, rectangular body in anthracite-painted aluminium standing on a rectangular base plate. The LED module sits in the upper part of the body and shines downwards through an elongated cut-out, so the light falls directly onto the surface around the fitting. How big the bollard is and where it stands The body measures 65 cm high, 18 cm deep and only 4.5 cm wide, and the base plate takes up 22 × 8.5 cm. Compare that figure with the width of your own path: the fitting stands on a narrow strip and does not narrow the walkway. It weighs 3.427 kg net, and the plate has two mounting holes for bolting it down to a solid surface. The fitting is protection class I, so the supply must include an earth conductor. SLV provides for this with a separate 3-pole IP68 connection box, article 228730 — it is an accessory and is not included. How much light it gives and of what colour The LED module is built in, so there is no bulb to buy. The fitting draws 10 W and delivers 400 lm — that much light marks out the run of a path and picks out the edge of a step or a terrace, but it does not light a whole garden. The light colour is chosen during installation with the CCT switch: 3000 K is warm white with a yellowish cast, 4000 K is neutral white, cooler and more technical. Colour rendering is Ra 80 and the distribution is symmetrical, directed downwards. Build and outdoor operation The housing is aluminium in matt anthracite, a smooth shape with no ornament. IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction, so the bollard can stand in the open with no cover above it. The manufacturer rates impact resistance at IK03, which is 0.35 J. The ambient temperature range runs from -25 °C to 40 °C, so the fitting stays outdoors all year.
