A restrained recessed lighting detailNordlux Mixit Pro 71810132 is a round recessed downlight finished in brushed steel. Its visible diameter is 8.5 cm and the fitting height is 7.2 cm. Once installed, only a neat metal ring remains on view, making it a considered choice for a plain ceiling, a covered entrance or a soffit. The construction combines metal and plastic and is specified as Class II, or double insulated.Choose the GU10 lamp to suit the schemeThis fitting takes one replaceable GU10 LED lamp, which is not supplied. That leaves the choice of colour temperature, light output and a dimmable lamp with the project rather than fixing those characteristics in the fitting itself. The maximum permitted lamp wattage is 8 W. Dimming is possible when an appropriate dimmable lamp and compatible control are used. Mixit Pro operates at 230 V, and Nordlux also states that parallel connection is possible.For interior and sheltered exterior installationThe IP23 rating and the manufacturer’s stated use make this model suitable for indoor settings and for exterior locations such as a protected roof overhang.
