The NIGEL 09929/10/31 is a two-head ceiling spotlight from Lucide: a rectangular mounting plate of 20 × 10 cm and two cylindrical heads 6.5 cm across. The body is powder-coated aluminium in matt white, and the inside of each cylinder is painted black. How much ceiling it takes and how it is aimed From the ceiling to the bottom edge of the heads the fitting measures 11.5 cm, and the plate covers 20 × 10 cm — it fits over a narrow worktop or in a hallway where a round ceiling light would be too large. The height is not adjustable. Both heads rotate horizontally and tilt, so each point is aimed separately: one at the worktop, one at the wall, or both along the same wall. Mounting materials are in the box, and the fitting weighs 0.95 kg. The light, and what comes in the box The lamps are included: two GU10 (MR16) LED bulbs of 5 W each, 640 lm each. Together that is about 1280 lm — roughly two old 60 W bulbs — at a 40° beam angle, so a focused beam rather than light spread across the whole room. A colour rendering index of Ra 95 means colours look close to how they look in daylight; aimed at a picture, a bookshelf or a work surface, that difference is visible. The included lamp carries energy efficiency class G, and the manufacturer rates its life at 25,000 hours. Dim to warm: how the colour shifts The lamps use dim-to-warm: at full brightness they run at 3000 K and, as they are dimmed, drop through 2700 K and 2500 K to 2200 K at 25 % output, the way an old incandescent behaved on a dimmer. This is not a colour you switch between — brighter always means cooler here. Using it needs a dimmer in the wall box, bought separately: the fitting itself has no control electronics and runs at full output and 3000 K without one.
