KIANTI is a ceiling spotlight: a round black plate 15 cm across carrying two cylindrical shades of 4.2 cm diameter on knuckle joints. The metal is spray-painted matt, and the fitting projects 12 cm below the ceiling. How much room it takes and what is included The mounting plate is 15 cm in diameter and 2.5 cm deep, and it covers a standard junction box. The 12 cm height cannot be changed — the manufacturer gives the same figure as both minimum and maximum, so the fitting always takes up the same space below the ceiling. Installation materials are included. Both holders rotate horizontally and sit on knuckle joints, so each beam is aimed separately — at a wall, at a shelf, or straight down. Which bulbs have to be bought The fitting takes two GU10 (MR16) sources of up to 50 W each and runs on 230 V. Bulbs are not included: this is the body with two holders, so light colour and brightness are chosen when the sources are bought. The manufacturer recommends its own GU10 LED source, article 49006/05/30 — 5 W, 3000 K, dimmable. Across two light points that wattage gives directional accent light rather than lighting for a whole room. Dimming and connection The fitting is dimmable but has no electronics of its own — it is operated from an ordinary switch, so dimming needs dimmable bulbs plus a dimmer in the wall box. Without those two parts the lamp simply switches on and off. It is a protection class I fitting, so an earth conductor has to be connected, and it is intended for indoor use only.Mostrar mais
