The LED Labs OPTI 24 V tape is a 5 m reel with a single row of SMD 2835 diodes on an 8 mm white PCB. Variant 16-2088-01 (EAN 5907775756185) emits fixed warm white 3000 K; the reel holds 600 LEDs, or 120 per metre. The catalogue photo shows the LED Labs carton, a spool labelled 12 W / 24 V / IP20, and an uncoated strip sample. A driver, aluminium profile, cover and connectors are not in the box. Power, cutting and fixing The strip runs only on 24 V DC. At 12 W per metre the full reel draws 60 W; size the supply to the length you actually install, and the manufacturer recommends about 10% extra capacity. At 24 V the current is lower than on a comparable 12 V tape, so voltage drop on a longer feed is smaller. The board uses 2 oz copper and Blue Tape on the back. Cut points sit every 50 mm. IP20 means there is no sealed jacket. Use it in dry interiors; it does not replace an IP65 version. Match the 8 mm width to the chamber of any LED profile you add if the tape should sit in aluminium with a diffuser; the profile is sold separately. What the light is like The maker states 1350 lm/m, or 113 lm/W at 12 W/m. CRI 80 is enough for everyday colour in a kitchen or living room, not a display-grade promise. 120 LEDs per metre pack the dots on a narrow PCB; a continuous line of light still depends on a cover you buy extra. Rated life is 20 000 hours, with a 3-year warranty. Where 3000 K at 12 W/m belongs Warm white and 1350 lm/m suit under-cabinet work light, a kitchen-island niche, wardrobe shelves, and a discreet run in a living room, bedroom, entrance or corridor. Keep it out of a wet bathroom zone and off the exterior. The form is technical: white PCB, one diode row, no decorative housing, so a profile leaves a thin line and an open shelf shows the tape itself.Mostrar mais
