JUCHITAN Luces Exclusivas Garden Bollard Light Grey 50 cm E27 IP54 LE71507
The JUCHITAN LE71507 is a 50 cm garden bollard light. A rectangular lantern of aluminium framing sits on a slim round post, glazed with clear glass on all four sides and on top. Frame and post are grey with a matt finish, and a row of visible screws holds each corner of the frame. How tall it is and how it is set The bollard stands 50 cm from the ground to the top of the lantern, and the lantern itself is 11 cm wide and 15 cm deep. At that height the light lands on the surface beside the fitting rather than in the face of anyone walking past — it lights a path, a driveway or the edge of a bed, not the whole area in front of the house. The base is a round flange with drilled holes, so the fitting bolts down to a hard surface: paving, a concrete pad or a terrace. Compare the 50 cm with the scale of what it has to light before choosing the spot. The bulb and the light the lantern gives The lantern takes one E27 socket, and the manufacturer caps the bulb at 12 W. No bulb is supplied — in practice that cap points to an LED lamp, since an incandescent at that wattage would give almost no light. Colour and brightness are therefore your own choice. The glass is clear on every side and on top, so light leaves sideways and upwards as well as down, and the bulb itself is visible from every angle — its shape becomes part of how the fitting looks. The light can be dimmed, but that needs a bulb described as dimmable. Build and working outdoors The body is aluminium and the glazing is glass. The manufacturer states IP54, protection against dust and splashing water from any direction — the bollard may stand in the open with no cover over it. LE71507 belongs to the JUCHITAN family, in which Luces Exclusivas also makes pendants, wall lights and a second bollard — if you want one lantern shape at the door, on the wall and along the path, the whole family uses the same frame.Mostrar mais
