Gea Luce GES272 is a luminaire recessed into paving and rated to be walked on. The ring visible from above is 130 mm across, made of stainless steel and held by four screws; the body below it is aluminium and the cover is clear glass 115 mm across. The reflector inside is adjustable, so the beam can be tilted away from vertical. How much space to prepare in the paving The manufacturer supplies a steel casing with the fitting — 127 mm across and 157 mm deep, built into the substrate. The luminaire itself sinks 150 mm into it, and its 13 mm ring stays on top, flush with the surface. The casing has a notch at the bottom for the cable, and two glands sit on the underside of the luminaire on a 77 mm circle. The casing dimensions are what you compare against the depth of your paving build-up and the room for running the cable in — the luminaire weighs 850 g, so it is the depth that governs the installation, not the weight. Which bulb it takes The fitting takes one GU10 bulb of up to 7 W on a 220–240 V supply. No bulb is included, so you choose it yourself and with it the character of the light. Gea Luce lists its own GU10 lamps for this fitting in two beam angles: 38° gives a narrow beam for picking out a single feature, 100° spreads the light broadly across the paving. In the 7 W version the output runs from 550 to 610 lm depending on angle and colour, available in 3000 K (warm white) and 4000 K (neutral white), with colour rendering above Ra 80. Durability and wiring IP67 means dust-tight and resistant to temporary immersion — so the fitting may sit where water collects after rain. The material mix follows from that: stainless steel on top, aluminium in the buried part, glass for the cover. The luminaire is class I, which means it needs an earth conductor — the supply run in the paving has to bring one to it.Mostrar mais
