FOCUS LED C056CL-L12B4K-W-D-B is a surface-mounted spot just 5.2 cm across and 12.5 cm tall – a slim black aluminium cylinder fixed to the ceiling surface, with no cut-out required. The built-in LED module delivers 12 W and 900 lm at a neutral 4000 K. Narrow beam and high CRI The 50° beam and CRI 90 colour rendering define what this fitting is for: accent light, not general light. 900 lm concentrated into fifty degrees puts a clearly defined pool on the floor, and CRI 90 means the object lit – a picture, a shelf, a worktop, a shop display – keeps its proper colour. For lighting a whole room those figures would be wasted; for picking out single places they are exactly right. TRIAC dimming The fitting dims on the TRIAC protocol, i.e. from a classic phase-cut dimmer in the back box – the same one used for incandescent lamps. That is a meaningful distinction: no DALI controller and no gateway are needed, just a wall dimmer rated for LED loads. A supply range of AC 165–265 V means the fitting tolerates a wide mains variation. The accessory system FOCUS LED 12 W is not a closed fitting – the manufacturer offers interchangeable optical and decorative parts, and it is those that set its final character: lenses ø 43 mm narrowing the beam to 15°, 24° or 36° (LensD38-15 / -24 / -36); a HoneyComb anti-glare filter ø 38 mm – a honeycomb that cuts off the sideways view of the source; acrylic diffusers in three sizes (RingSAcr-12-W, RingMAcr-12-W, RingLAcr-12-W) that turn a hard point into soft light; a decorative ring, RingM-12-W. An installation can therefore be re-tuned later – the beam tightened over a new table or softened in a bedroom – without changing the fittings.
