Matching the cap to the profile matters on letters and logos, where the end of every character is visible at close range.A caution about sealingThis is the standard cap, with an opening for the cable. The manufacturer states that Neon Flex HR Eco itself is IP44 and intended mainly for indoor use, and that raising the sealing to IP65 requires special end pieces — that is, a separate cap without an opening. If the installation is to work outdoors, this cap is not enough.OrderingEnd caps are sold singly, and every run of neon has two ends — one with the supply brought out, one closed. When a long reel is cut into several elements the number of caps needed grows with the number of pieces, not with the metreage.
