The Zambelis S150 is a round recessed downlight with an 8.5 cm outer diameter and a height of 6.5 cm. The body is aluminium in a sandy white finish, and the deep-set reflector places the lamp well inside the housing. Spring clips on the housing hold it in the ceiling. The hole to cut and the space to leave The maker specifies a 7.7 cm mounting hole. The 8.5 cm flange covers the edge of that hole, so the 8 mm of margin around the circumference absorbs an imprecise cut in the board. Above the ceiling board, 10 cm of clear space is required, even though the fitting itself is 6.5 cm tall. That is the figure to check in your suspended ceiling before buying — with a shallower void the fitting will not go in. The luminaire is class II, so it needs no earth conductor. No supply lead is included; it wires to a 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz circuit. The lamp is the buyer's part The GU10 lampholder is fitted at the factory, but no lamp is included — you buy one GU10 lamp of up to 40 W. Light colour, lumen output and colour rendering therefore depend entirely on that lamp, which is why the maker publishes none of them for the fitting itself. For the same reason dimming depends on the lamp: you need one described as dimmable and a dimmer matched to it. The maker names the OSRAM COIN 50 G3 module as a suitable lamp, also sold separately. Aiming the light The reflector insert moves, and the maker states the adjustment range as 360°. The beam can therefore be aimed off the fitting's axis — at a wall, a picture or a cabinet front — without moving the hole in the ceiling.
