The Azure Fringe Fringed Cushion Cover 50x50 cm, Indian Blue

Name: The Azure Fringe Fringed Cushion Cover 50x50 cm, Indian Blue
Brand: BAZAR BIZAR

The Azure Fringe is a 50 × 50 cm cushion cover woven from a coarse cotton and linen blend in a deep indigo blue. A frayed fringe runs along all four sides, pulled straight out of the fabric itself, and a line of stitching a few centimetres in from the edge forms a flat flange. The insert is bought separately What ships is the cover alone — there is no filling, and the manufacturer lists cushion inserts as a separate product group. At 50 × 50 cm this is the most common decorative cushion format, so a standard insert of the same size fits. The insert goes in through a zip sewn into one edge. The back is made from a different fabric than the face: smooth, finely woven, in a muted grey-blue. The cover therefore comes off whole, without unpicking a seam. Coarse yarn and a frayed edge The manufacturer gives the composition as cotton with linen. The yarn is thick and uneven and the weave open enough that single lighter, undyed fibres show through the dark indigo. Close up that makes the colour livelier; from across the room the fabric reads as navy. Each piece is finished by hand and the manufacturer notes small variations in the weave and in the density of the fringe, so the edges of two covers will not be identical. Usage is given as indoor, so the cover is meant for a sofa, an armchair or a bed rather than a terrace or a balcony. It is made in Indonesia.Mostrar mais
