BOLOGNA 314WH is a bollard light cast in aluminium and painted white, topped with a clear spherical diffuser. A band runs around the globe and cuts the glare at eye level. The post stands 117.5 cm high on a square base 25 cm across. How it is fixed down The base is bolted through two ø5.5 mm holes spaced 90 mm apart. For setting the light into concrete the manufacturer offers a separate anchor, index 307 — it is not in the box and has to be bought alongside. The luminaire itself weighs 2.30 kg, 3.00 kg with its packaging. At 117.5 cm it stands slightly taller than a bar counter, which is usually 100–110 cm, so the light falls from above onto a longer stretch of path than a fitting set at ground level. Which bulb to buy The fitting has an E27 socket and the manufacturer specifies an LED source of up to 9 W. No bulb is included, so you pick the colour and brightness yourself — for paths 2700–3000 K is the usual choice, warm light with a yellowish cast. The clear PMMA globe leaves the source visible and the luminaire throws light symmetrically upwards and downwards. The band screens the bulb at eye level, while the light going above the fitting is left untouched. Standing outdoors IP54 protection allows the light to stand in the open with no cover over it. The manufacturer gives a permissible ambient range of −20 to +45 °C. The bollard belongs to protection class II, so no protective conductor is needed to connect it. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm² and allow several fittings to be looped through on one run; the gland is sized for round cable of 7–10.5 mm diameter. Where to put it The manufacturer intends the Bologna series for gardens, terraces and street settings.
