ASTI 1784 is a 29 cm clear glass globe hung on a white cord beneath a cap and canopy in patinated brass. With colourless glass it is the lamp itself that decides how the fitting looks when lit — which is why only a decorative LED filament bulb makes sense here, ideally a large globe or pear shape in a warm colour. An ordinary frosted LED globe turns this fitting into a white blob inside glass. No bulb is included, and the power limit is 15 W.Patinated brass, white cordThe metal parts — canopy, cap and lampholder — are finished in patinated brass: warm, matt, slightly darkened, a long way from shiny gold.
