An LED driver for the LUNA-MAG magnetic system. It is a flat white bar with a rating plate on the housing and a two-core lead leaving one end; the same end carries a metal mounting bracket and a contact block. The unit converts mains voltage to the 48 V the whole track runs on. How many fittings it carries Rated output is 150 W at 48 V, which corresponds to an output current of up to 3.12 A. That is the power budget for the track section it feeds: before buying, add up the wattages of every fitting meant to sit on that section and check the total stays below 150 W. A longer track with more light points needs a second driver. What the wiring looks like The input takes 220-240 V, 50/60 Hz, 1 A maximum. The power factor is at least 0.95, so the current drawn from the mains is almost entirely active, and it is that one amp that counts when sizing the circuit protection. Two conductors come out, live and neutral - there is no earth terminal, because the driver is protection class II and needs no earthing. The output side is a SELV circuit, that is safety extra-low voltage; the track and its fittings connect there. The module works as a constant-voltage source and the rating plate states it is intended for LED modules. The manufacturer allows installation indoors in dry locations only. What is in the box The box holds the driver with its input lead already attached. The LUNA-MAG track, its brackets and the luminaires are bought separately, as parts of the same system under their own article numbers.
