ELCHE Luces Exclusivas Pendant Lamp LE41622
ELCHE LE41622 is a pendant lamp with twelve slim rods hanging beneath a round black canopy. The rods taper towards the bottom and hang at different lengths, so the lower edge forms a cascade. The body is aluminium in matt black and the rod ends are acrylic. How much room it needs and how low it reaches The canopy is 50 cm across, so the lamp needs a circular area of that size on the ceiling. Total height reaches 230 cm and is set by the cable length — that drop is meant for a tall room or a void above a staircase; over a table the rods are drawn up considerably higher. Each rod ends in a pale acrylic cap. That cap is the only transparent part of the fitting, so the light leaves at the bottom, from twelve separate points. What light it gives The light source is integrated and permanently built in. The whole fitting draws 36 W and gives 2160 lm at 3000 K — roughly what a 150 W incandescent bulb delivered, split across twelve separate points. That arrangement picks out the vertical rods and lights the zone under the lamp rather than the whole interior evenly. 3000 K is a warm colour close to incandescent light. The LED modules are not replaced individually; they are built in permanently, so their life is the life of the whole lamp. Where it may hang and how it is connected The IP20 rating carries no protection against water at all, so the mounting place is a dry interior — not a bathroom and not outdoors.
