A rectangular frame with a glowing panel inside Hellvik is not a bollard with a head — it is a flat aluminium frame, 42 × 85 cm and only 11 cm deep, filled by a large translucent panel. The whole panel glows, on both faces, rather than a point source at the top. The result is quite different from a classic bollard: instead of a pool of light at its foot, you get a vertical, evenly bright plane visible from both directions along a path. DALI2 control The fitting is built for DALI2 — the digital control protocol that lets individual luminaires be switched, dimmed and grouped from one controller, and their status read back. In a garden that means scenes can be programmed (full output until 23:00, 20 % for the rest of the night) rather than plain on/off. Worth knowing before buying: using that feature needs a DALI bus; without one the fitting works like any ordinary switched luminaire. Light: 1803 lm from 20.2 W The LED module draws 17.4 W, the complete fitting with its driver 20.2 W. The module itself makes 3075 lm, but 1803 lm leaves the panel — the difference is the cost of diffusion, which is what keeps the light from glaring. Source efficacy is 176.7 lm/W, luminaire efficacy 89.3 lm/W. Colour is 4000 K (neutral white) at CRI 80. The same frame is also made in 3000 K (code 2412GR, 1747 lm). IP65, IK08 and class I IP65 — dust-tight and protected against water jets. IK08 — impact resistance to 5 J, which for a fitting standing at knee height beside a path is not a theoretical figure. Protection class I: the aluminium body must be connected to earth. Operating range −20 °C to +45 °C, at a reference temperature of +25 °C. Installation: concreting anchor included This is the detail that decides installation cost: the anchor for concreting is supplied with the fitting — nothing to buy separately or fabricate. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 4 mm², and up to 2 × 2.5 mm² when looping onward to the next fitting — so one run can pass through several bollards without an intermediate junction box. The gland accepts round cable up to ø 12.5 mm. Graphite, cast aluminium The body is painted cast aluminium in graphite — a dark, matt grey rather than black. Norlys makes the same frame in aluminium (2413AL) and black (2413BL); graphite is the middle option, less stark against concrete and stone than black. The 9.10 kg net weight suits a structure meant to stand in the wind for years.
