FAD WL22032G-L60 is a wall light built from a single straight bar 60 cm long, set on a round wall mount. The whole fitting is matte black, the body in metal with plastic parts. The lit line runs along the front edge of the bar rather than coming from a single point. How big it is and where to mount it The bar takes up 60 cm horizontally on the wall — the measurement to hold against the width of the mirror, picture or bed it is going above. The manufacturer gives the other two dimensions as 9,5 and 7,2 cm, so apart from that one long axis the fitting stays slim and does not stand far off the wall face. It weighs 0,43 kg and arrives in a 10 × 8,5 × 61 cm box. At that weight the mounting needs nothing beyond an ordinary plug in a solid wall, or a plasterboard-rated fixing in a stud wall. What light it gives The light source is built into the fitting and supplied with it, so nothing has to be bought before it is first switched on. It is a permanently integrated LED module: it cannot be changed the way a bulb can, and once it is spent the whole fitting is what gets replaced. The module draws 5 W and burns at 4000 K — neutral white, without the yellow cast of warm bulbs and without the blue tinge of cool ones. Light of that colour does not shift the colours of what it falls on, which is why it works above a mirror or along a worktop, where shades have to be read correctly. Where the manufacturer intends it Zuma Line names the living room, dining room, kitchen, study, hallway and bedroom for this fitting. What that list has in common is interiors where the narrow shape does the work: above a run of cabinets, along a corridor or over a headboard, the bar lights a band of wall rather than a whole room. The fitting runs on 230 V mains and is meant for dry interiors only — not for a bathroom shower zone and not for outdoors.
