The Lysfjord 6422AL is a cylindrical outdoor wall light, 15 cm in diameter and 43 cm tall, mounted on a rectangular bracket that holds it 20 cm off the wall. The body is cast aluminium powder-coated light grey RAL 9006, and both ends of the cylinder are closed with optical safety glass.How it distributes lightThe manufacturer specifies two-sided light: a wide 60° beam upwards and a very narrow 4° beam downwards. ULOR is 96%, so almost all of the light goes onto the wall above the fitting, while the lower beam draws a thin line beneath it. The arrangement is for picking out facades, pilasters and building walls, not for lighting a path.Two LED modules draw 26.5 W together. The light sources themselves produce 4144 lm and 946 lm leaves the fitting after the optics. 4000 K is neutral white, under which pale render and concrete look cool and clean; CRI is 80.DALI2 control and servicingThe driver works in a DALI outdoor system with NightDim. It leaves the factory programmed to maximum current, so without a controller the light runs at full output; dimming and schedules need a DALI installation or NightDim programming, and the manufacturer sets other parameters by arrangement with its sales department.The LED modules and the driver are replaceable by a professional service. The manufacturer rates the modules at L80 over 102,000 h and the driver at 100,000 h, and offers a diffuser service kit (06645000) as a spare part.Installation and wiringIP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, so the light can be fixed to a wall with no canopy above it; the housing is also impact-rated IK08. It is a protection class I luminaire and must be connected to the protective earth.The bracket is screwed on through two ø5 mm holes spaced 73 × 154 mm apart. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm², and fittings can be looped through with conductors up to 5 × 1.5 mm²; the cable can be 7–10.5 mm in diameter. Because of its 26 A inrush current the manufacturer allows at most 18 fittings on a B10 breaker and 28 on a B16 – figures to plan the circuit around for a row of these along a long facade.
