NORLYS Asker DC5124BL is a black LED outdoor bollard with a clean, angular body and an arm that directs light downwards. The housing is made from powder-coated cast aluminium, while the transparent structured lens uses UV-stabilised polycarbonate. This version operates in a 24 V DC installation and contains two LED modules.Dimensions and surface mountingThe bollard measures 85 cm high, 20 cm long and 11 cm wide. Light leaves the underside of the upper arm, falling onto the surface beside the fitting rather than shining directly upwards. The base requires four 8 mm mounting holes with 18 × 50 mm spacing. The concreting anchor, ground anchor and mounting adapters are sold separately, so the fixing method must be selected for the prepared base.24 V installation and source servicingThe fitting requires an external voltage-stabilised 24 V DC power supply selected for the lighting design. Its terminals accept conductors up to 2 × 4 mm² and allow loop-through wiring to another fitting; NORLYS specifies a round cable 5–12 mm in diameter. The luminaire is protection class III. Both LED modules are included and their eventual replacement is reserved for a qualified professional. The modules are suitable for dimming, although that function depends on the correctly selected external power supply and control arrangement.Asker DC5124BL light outputThe LED modules are rated at a combined 7.2 W and 1130 lm, whereas the complete luminaire draws 8.65 W and delivers 563 lm. This distinction accounts for losses through the optical system; luminaire efficacy is 65.1 lm/W. A colour temperature of 4000 K produces neutral white light, CRI 80 provides standard colour rendering, and SDCM3 limits visible shade differences between the modules. Light is directed downwards, ULOR is 0%, and the BUG rating is B0-U1-G0.Outdoor operating conditionsIP65 protects the construction against dust and water jets, while IK10 describes the enclosure's mechanical impact resistance. NORLYS specifies operation from -30 to +50°C. A silicone gasket and EPDM cable gland seal the housing connections.
