MOCHIS outdoor wall lamp by Luces Exclusivas LE71593
MOCHIS is an outdoor wall light with a flattened oval body in white painted aluminium and narrow slots along its top and bottom edges. Light leaves through both slots at once, so the fitting draws two pools on the wall — one upwards, one down. How big it is and how far it stands off the wall The manufacturer's technical drawing gives 18 cm across, 7.5 cm high and 11.5 cm deep. That last figure is the one that matters here: the fitting stands more than ten centimetres out from the wall, so beside a narrow passage or a doorway it has to be compared with the width that is actually left free. The low, stretched shape makes the fitting read on a wall as a horizontal line rather than a point. Where several are mounted along a facade, that proportion is what decides the spacing. How much light it gives and in what colour The source is an integrated LED module of 9 W delivering 475 lm at 3000 K, a warm white. The module is built in permanently and cannot be swapped for a bulb — buying the fitting means buying its light source too, and that source sets the service life of the whole thing. 475 lm split across two slots is marking and decorative light, not working light. It is enough to pick out an entrance, a step or a stretch of wall; lighting a whole terrace calls for several fittings or a separate source. Where it may be mounted An IP54 rating means protection against dust and against splashing water from any direction, so the fitting can work outdoors — on a facade, on a fence post, on a terrace or balcony wall. It runs on ordinary 230 V, fed by cable to an installation box hidden behind the body. The body is aluminium and the slots are closed with glass. White paint on an aluminium body means the fitting draws least attention against pale render and stands out most against a dark facade.Pokaż więcej
