The V-TAC VT-12017 GT-Series is a 600 mm linear LED weatherproof fitting with a white polycarbonate body and Samsung SMD chips. Its integrated light source draws 18 W and produces 2160 lm. A 120° beam spreads the output across a broad strip of floor or work area rather than creating a narrow pool of light. The LED source is not replaceable, so the complete fitting must be replaced when the source reaches the end of its life.Cool light for technical spacesA colour temperature of 6500 K produces a distinctly cool, bluish white. V-TAC lists parking areas, warehouses, garages, loading areas and workshops among the intended applications. The 2160 lm output at 18 W gives an efficacy of 120 lm/W, while the source carries energy class E. CRI 80 is adequate for general circulation and task lighting, but the regulated EPREL record declares R9 at 0, meaning saturated reds will not be rendered accurately.EPREL also reports SDCM 6, so a visible difference in white tone may occur when several units are installed side by side. Its PstLM flicker metric of 1.0 and SVM stroboscopic metric of 0.9 sit at their applicable limits. The manual allows a maximum of 20 connected units, although cable sizing and circuit protection must be determined by an electrician. A terminal block is not included, and the completed connection must preserve the installation’s ingress protection. Rated life is 25,000 hours and switching endurance exceeds 15,000 cycles.
