The V-TAC VT-7967 is a cordless table lamp running on a built-in battery — there is no fixed lead to a socket, so it can be carried around the house, taken onto a terrace, or stood where there is no power point at all. The slim metal construction is 34 cm tall on a base 10.5 cm across; the body is a round foot, a thin stem and a small fluted shade. The battery: how long it actually runs The built-in cell is 1800 mAh. The manufacturer quotes 3–4 hours of running time on a full charge and 4–5 hours to charge. These are the numbers to know before buying: the lamp will carry an evening at the table or a dinner outdoors, but it is not a light source for a whole night. It charges over the supplied USB Type-C cable, 80 cm long — from a phone charger, a power bank or a computer port; the supply must deliver 5 V / 2 A. The indicator glows red while charging and green when charging is complete. Touch control and three light colours Everything is operated from a single touch pad on top of the shade. A short tap switches the lamp on and off. Further taps cycle the colour temperature: once — warm, twice — white, three times — neutral, covering the 3000–6000 K range. Holding a finger on the pad raises the brightness smoothly across 10–100%. A useful detail: the lamp remembers the last brightness level and starts there next time, so a night-time setting once found does not have to be hunted for in the dark. How much light this is The LED module draws 2.7 W and gives 110 lm at a 180° beam. That is deliberately modest — 110 lumens is roughly a large scented candle, an amount meant for atmosphere, for reading a menu at the table, or for finding your way across a bedroom at night. For sustained reading of a book this lamp will not be enough; its role is companion light, not task light. Colour rendering is CRI 80+. Build and care The body is iron (metal) finished in black. An IP20 rating restricts the lamp to indoor use only — it can be used on a terrace but should not be left out in rain. The manual states that the light source is not replaceable: at the end of its life the whole luminaire is replaced. For cleaning, V-TAC recommends a cloth and water (soapy water for stubborn marks) roughly every two months, and explicitly warns against volatile or corrosive liquids, which can discolour the finish.
