TROOPER is a flat ceiling light measuring 53 × 30 cm and only 8 cm deep, built from two light rings of different diameter that partly overlap. The black metal body is broken up with a bronze-toned wood decor, which makes the fitting read lighter than its size suggests. Two rings instead of one diffuser An ordinary ceiling light is a single glowing plane. Here the light is split across two circles of different size, drawing a pattern on the ceiling rather than one flat patch — and making the fitting look different from each point in the room. At 8 cm deep it barely stands off the ceiling, so it also suits low rooms where a pendant would be in the way: hallways, entrance areas, attic bedrooms. 28 W, 1000 lumens, 3000 K The built-in LED module draws 28 W and gives 1000 lumens at 3000 K, warm white. This is atmospheric light rather than working light: enough as the main source in a hallway, entrance or bedroom, but a kitchen or a desk will need something added. The warm tone suits the bronze wood decor — at 4000 K the same combination would read cold and artificial. The diodes are permanently built in: no bulbs to buy and none you can replace yourself. Build and installation The construction combines metal and aluminium with plastic parts and wood decor. The whole thing weighs a little over a kilogram, mounts directly to the ceiling and runs on 230 V mains — no external driver. IP20 keeps it strictly in dry interiors.
