s.luce Orb Tripod floor lamp 160 cm, Ø 50 cm gold gradient glass globe

Name: s.luce Orb Tripod floor lamp 160 cm, Ø 50 cm gold gradient glass globe
Brand: s.luce

Orb Tripod is a 160 cm floor lamp: a glass globe 50 cm in diameter sits on a three-legged stand of slim, matt black legs. In this version the glass has a gold gradient — the colour is strongest at the bottom of the globe and fades to clear towards the top. How big it is and where to place it A 50 cm globe is the largest of the three glass sizes s.luce offers for this stand (30, 40 and 50 cm), so the lamp makes a clear accent beside a sofa, an armchair or in a corner of the room. The manufacturer intends it for living rooms, bedrooms — for example next to a bed or an armchair — studies, dining rooms and hallways. The globe is set onto the tripod from above; the manufacturer states that it sits securely and does not slip. The stand also takes other s.luce glasses from the Orb, Progress and Fairy series, so the globe can later be swapped for another colour or size without buying a new base. Light source and switching Inside the globe there is one E27 lampholder for a bulb of up to 40 W. No bulb is included, so you choose the colour and brightness yourself — for living rooms and bedrooms, 2700–3000 K warm light is the usual choice. A dimmer sits on the black textile-covered cable. Smooth dimming works only with a bulb labelled as dimmable, so check for that marking on the packaging when buying one. The lamp is protection class I, meaning the cable has a protective earth conductor and it plugs into an earthed socket. It is intended for indoor use. Build and series The stand is metal and the shade is glass, and the form — three straight legs and an undecorated sphere — belongs to the modern Orb series. This item is one specific variant: gold gradient glass in the 50 cm size; other glass colours and diameters are separate products.Pokaż więcej
