Asker 4382GR is a post-top luminaire — a flat rectangular body of painted aluminium profile in graphite, with a row of LED lenses set into the underside. It slides onto a round pole 60 mm in diameter; the pole itself is not part of the package. Mounting and what is in the box The body measures 47 cm long, 11 cm wide and 7 cm high, and weighs 2.8 kg. The mount is made for a Ø 60 mm pole and is fitted according to the manufacturer's instructions. A 6 m cable leaves the luminaire from the factory, so the junction box can sit at the base of the pole with no extra joint halfway up. The box holds the luminaire alone. Pole, bracket and mounting adapters are bought separately — the manufacturer lists them as their own catalogue items. The cover is a sealed outer lens of transparent polycarbonate. What light it gives The built-in LED module draws 19.6 W and delivers 2711 lm, roughly three classic 60 W bulbs gathered into one fitting. Efficacy is 138.3 lm/W. The 3000 K colour temperature is warm white — warmer than the 4000 K usual in street lighting and closer to what a park or a residential street calls for. A colour rendering index of Ra 70 is enough for orientation and safety, but not for work where colours have to match exactly. Distribution comes from a Ledil VSM lens, that is IESNA type V: the flux spreads evenly all around the fitting rather than in one direction. The ULOR figure is 0.8%, so almost all the light goes downwards and not into the sky; the BUG classification is B2-U2-G1. The module is permanently built in and is not replaceable — the manufacturer rates it at 100,000 hours, about 91 years at three hours of use a day. Control and operating conditions The luminaire runs on 230 V and supports DALI2 control and the NightDim function, an automatic power reduction during the night hours. Using DALI requires a bus controller on the installation side; without one the luminaire runs at full output. The power factor is 0.98. IP65 means full dust protection and protection against water jets, and IK10 impact resistance is the top step of that scale — both are set up for mounting in public space.
