First digitally parameterized infrared motion sensor. The ID 180 DIGI HD IP54 motion detector blends discreetly into any environment with its slim design and discreet lens construction. Nine detection zones and sensor sensitivity can be conveniently adjusted digitally. Regardless of the direction of movement, the 180-degree sensor detects tangential movements up to 9m and radial movements up to 6m equally well. STEINEL specifies an installation height of 1.8–2.5 m, with 2 m as the optimum. Its plastic housing measures 42 × 116 × 116 mm and is anthracite RAL 7039. IP54 protection and an ambient-temperature range of −20 to 40 °C support outdoor installation.This is the COM1 version for 220–240 V, 50–60 Hz. Its resistive switching output is rated at 2000 W and the sensor’s own consumption is 0.6 W. The twilight threshold is adjustable from 2 to 1000 lx and the switch-on time from 5 seconds to 60 minutes. Bluetooth Mesh supports setup with a smartphone or tablet in the STEINEL Connect app. One unit is supplied; a corner wall mount is not included.Practical placementConfigure the zones for an entrance, façade, driveway, terrace, balcony or route around a building.
