TREVO FLOOR ALL WHITE is a floor lamp built from a single upright rod on a round base, with three tubular shades set at different heights. The whole body is metal finished in matt white. Each shade sits on a joint, so the direction of the light is set separately for each of the three heads. Size and floor space The lamp stands 164 cm tall — a figure worth comparing with the height of the furniture it will stand beside, since the topmost shade sits just below the end of the rod. The round base is 30 cm across and it is what defines the floor space taken; the rod itself is slim, and the shades reach past the outline of the base by the length of one tube. A single shade is a tube 3.7 cm in diameter and 12.5 cm long. The lamp weighs 6.5 kg, with the weight concentrated in the base that holds the slender rod upright. Which bulbs you have to buy The three sockets take GU10 mini lamps, the version with a small MR11 reflector on a GU10 cap, rated up to 10 W in LED. An ordinary GU10 lamp carries a PAR16 reflector about 5 cm across and will not go into a 3.7 cm tube, so look for the MR11 marking or the word mini in the description. Bulbs are not included, so the light colour is your own choice: in living spaces 2700–3000 K is the usual pick, meaning warm light with a yellowish tone. The lamp runs on 230 V and plugs into an ordinary socket. Three beams aimed separately The tubes are opaque and release light only from the open end, along the axis of the shade. The lamp therefore does not wash the whole room; it points three narrow beams exactly where you turn the shades — spread in different directions or gathered onto one spot. Finish and collection TREVO is a series of plain, technical shapes: smooth tubes with no ornament, a thin rod and joints left in view.
