Sabina Large Ceiling Light - 4 Light Sources - Black Elstead

Name: Sabina Large Ceiling Light - 4 Light Sources - Black Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

The large Sabina flush light by Hinkley is a flat drum 57 cm across, mounted directly to the ceiling. An off-white polycotton shade is wrapped in a black steel lattice of interlocking, rounded squares, and a pale diffuser with a black central finial closes the underside. It is distributed by Elstead Lighting; the manufacturer gives the United Kingdom as the country of manufacture. For low and medium-height rooms At only 17.6 cm deep it works where a pendant would eat into headroom — a hallway, corridor or bedroom. The 57 cm diameter lets one fitting light the room; for scale, that is about the width of a standard kitchen cabinet. The ceiling plate is 14 cm across and 2.5 cm deep, covering a standard junction box. The fitting weighs 4.85 kg, so it must be fixed into a load-bearing ceiling. It is Class I and needs an earth connection. Bulbs and light Under the diffuser are four E27 sockets for bulbs of up to 60 W each; no bulbs are supplied. Four bulbs of about 800 lm each give enough brightness for the main light of a room. The fabric and diffuser conceal the bulbs, so even from below no bare source is visible. With dimmable bulbs and a dimmer the brightness can be adjusted. Which rooms it suits The manufacturer lists the living room, bedroom, dining room and corridor. The black geometric pattern on a pale ground is a modernist form; the Sabina series also includes pendants, a wall light and a chandelier.Pokaż więcej
