This is the mounting kit that recesses Ideal Lux FLUO linear luminaires into a ceiling. It consists of a metal stirrup bracket with two perforated flanges and a threaded stud on top, supplied with screws. The bracket disappears into the ceiling - once the work is finished only the luminaire profile stays visible. How many kits a module needs The manufacturer specifies one kit for every 600 mm of profile length and lists it as required for this mounting method. A 1200 mm FLUO module therefore needs two kits and an 1800 mm module three. For a longer light line built from several modules, add up the whole length and divide it by 60 cm before you order. How big the bracket is The bracket measures 115 x 95 x 45 mm and weighs 0.07 kg. The 95 mm height is the clearance you need above the ceiling plane for the luminaire to sit flush in it - check that dimension at the place where the light line is to run. The perforated flanges lie flat on the ceiling structure, and the screws pass through them. Which system it belongs to FLUO is Ideal Lux's linear system built around an extruded aluminium profile, supplied in 1200 and 1800 mm modules that join into a line of any length. Kit 191188 covers recessed installation only; for suspension or surface mounting the manufacturer offers separate accessories in the same series.
