PATTA-I 1002102 is a recessed ceiling luminaire with a permanently built-in LED. What stays visible is a white square trim 8 cm on a side, holding a faceted reflector. It combines Dim to Warm colour shifting with an IP20/IP65 protection code. Cut-out and ceiling The cut-out is round and 6 cm across, and the installation depth is also 6 cm — that much clear space has to remain above the ceiling board for the body to fit. The 8 cm square trim covers the edges of the opening, and the whole fitting is 4 cm tall. The manufacturer intends it for ceilings up to 20 mm thick. Spring clips, visible in the photo of the set, hold it in place. The light it gives The LED draws 7.3 W and works in Dim to Warm mode: at full output it gives 440 lm at 3000 K, and dimmed it goes down to 44 lm at 1800 K, a warmth close to candlelight. Dimming calls for a phase dimmer — the manufacturer allows both leading and trailing edge control. A colour rendering index of Ra 95 means colours under this light look almost as they do in daylight, which counts at a mirror and over a worktop. The 38° beam lights a clearly drawn area beneath the fitting rather than a whole room, so several of them are set out at intervals. The IP20/IP65 code is what the manufacturer bases its approval on for outdoor use and for damp rooms.
