V-TAC VT-11020S is a white round wall light with an integrated SMD LED module and a PIR motion sensor. Its aluminium body is designed for wall mounting. The fitting can serve an entrance, façade or circulation route where light is required after movement is detected.Warm light and an adjustable headThe built-in source consumes 17W and produces 2480 lm of warm white light at 3000K. Colour rendering is rated above CRI 80. V-TAC specifies an optical beam angle of 350° and describes the lamp head as adjustable. The 350° figure is a light-distribution specification, not the sensor’s field of detection.PIR sensor range and hold timeThe sensor uses passive infrared detection and has a declared range of up to 10 m. The time for which the light remains on after detected movement can be adjusted from 30 seconds to 3 minutes. The documentation does not state a PIR detection angle or an ambient-light threshold. A 350° sensing angle or a particular dusk setting should therefore not be assumed.Dimensions and wall installationThe product drawing and current manufacturer specification give a width of 160 mm, an overall height of 206 mm and a projection from the wall of 160 mm. These are 16 × 20.6 × 16 cm, not a 20.6 cm body length. The fitting operates from a 220–240V AC, 50/60Hz supply and requires a fixed electrical connection. V-TAC instructs that installation be carried out by a qualified electrician with the supply isolated.Ingress protection and service lifeIP65 denotes a dust-tight enclosure protected against water jets under the specified test conditions; it does not mean the product can be immersed. The fitting is not dimmable. LED life is declared as 20,000 hours and the switching-cycle figure exceeds 15,000. The light source is not user-replaceable; the manual states that the complete luminaire should be replaced when the source reaches end of life.
