PRO FOCUS is a slim tube 40 cm long and just 6 cm across, in a brass finish, hung on a fine cable from a 12 cm canopy. Maytoni designed the whole series for accent lighting: the body is smooth, with no visible connectors or protruding parts, and inside, a metal ring holds the lamp and conceals the interior of the structure.The long tube is optics, not stylingThe GU10 socket sits deep inside the 40 cm tube rather than near its mouth. That construction works as an anti-glare snoot: it cuts the side rays, narrows the beam and keeps the lamp out of sight until you stand directly beneath it. The effect matters most where people sit — over a kitchen island, at a bar, above a coffee table — because the light source never enters the eyeline of whoever is on the other side of the counter. The light comes down as a concentrated column and lights what the lamp hangs over, instead of spilling across the whole room.Adjustable from 52.5 cm to 340 cmThe suspension is shortened by trimming the cable, and the manufacturer states a full range from 52.5 cm to 340 cm. Those are two entirely different jobs in one product: at the top of the range, 3.4 m serves a stairwell or a room with a mezzanine; at the bottom, it hangs just above a bedside cabinet as a replacement for a table lamp, freeing the surface. Because the socket is a replaceable one, beam angle and colour temperature depend on what you put in it — a narrower angle sharpens the pool of light on the counter further, a wider one gives a softer transition.
