The Mareco Luce Plug 300 Emergency is a square ceiling light 29.6 cm on a side and 78 mm deep, for ceiling or wall mounting. The 076029XM version carries a built-in emergency module that keeps the fitting lit for 3 hours after a power failure — that feature is what separates it from the plain Plug 300 and accounts for the price difference.Emergency lighting without a second fittingThree hours of backup means the luminaire itself takes on the role of escape lighting in a stairwell, a corridor, an underground garage, a plant room or along an outdoor walkway. There is no need to mount a separate emergency fitting beside it — one device covers both duties, which simplifies both the installation and the look of the ceiling.Colour temperature chosen at installationThe LED module has a CCT switch: before closing the fitting you select 3000 K (warm white) or 4000 K (neutral white). Output depends on that choice and comes to 1,463 lm at 3000 K and 1,569 lm at 4000 K from 15 W. The cooler setting therefore gives not only a different character of light but measurably more lumens.Durability — including against saltIP65 means full dust protection and resistance to water jets from any direction, while IK08 covers impacts of 5 J. The manufacturer separately notes that the fitting is particularly recommended for installation in saline zones — that is, the coastal belt, where salt aerosol quickly destroys ordinary luminaires.
